Mikel Crespo, new coach of VCF Femenino
The Basque coach brings experience in women's football in Spain, having guided Deportivo Alavés to promotion to the top tier during the 2020-21 season
On Matchday 4 of the Primera Iberdrola season, VCF Femenino host Athletic Club on Wednesday, September 29th at 7pm local time.
Andrea Esteban's side are currently 15th in the table, with 1 point, whilst the visitors are fifth with 6 points.
The Antonio Puchades is the venue for the match, in which the team will look to take their first victory of the season. They will play again at the same stadium on Sunday, October 3rd, against Sevilla FC in a 1pm kickoff.
Andrea Esteban: “We know that Athletic Club will be demanding at all times. We want to be the VCF Femenino that we saw in the first half against Sporting Club de Huelva. Confidence in the team is at a maximum and playing at the Puchades, with our fans there, is a boost for us."
